Aubergine got some very nice stills from the cutscenes on his wiki, which you can check out for reference.
Some images with buildings:

Note that you do not have to copy the buildings exactly, as long as the central elements in the scenes are the same. I am planning on reusing the soundtrack from the old ones (unless someone is interested in redoing that too) which means I have to match the pacing and overall feel of the scenes for it to make sense.

Redid the basic briefing screen in high resolution. Since everything is 3d geometry, I can re-render it in any resolution I want.
Edit: uploaded video here

Nice, my dream finally becomes reality. :-)
There is also related idea, rolling credits in game. Unfortunately my friend couldn't finish that due to real life problems ®...

BTW, what is resolution of that video? It's smaller for testing or some rescaling was done by vimeo (it's a bit blurry for me)?

@Emdek: Yeah, vimeo rescaled it to 720p, with some extra artifacts...
I uploaded the .blend file if anyone is interested in rendering it out themselves. Sound not included.

Thanks guys :)
I still ask for help from anyone who is interested in doing some modeling. I currently limit myself to scenes that don't need a lot of props. Modeling props for an animation is actually easier than doing good game models, since you don't need to think about things like saving polygons or exporting. You might even get away with not doing any UV mapping.

Related issue, since we are going to finally fix videos then I would propose (again) making some cleanup with paths where are located for example subtitles and other videos related data. Unless something changed in last two years (and I doubt, since AFAIK it would require updating of sequence packages) then it it is still a bit of mess (more than one path with scattered data of the same type etc.). :-)

I know I said I'd help with some misc meshes but my sixth form/college work prevents me from having the time. Sorry.

I know what you mean, studies are starting in a few days for me too. Just hoping to get some things done before I get bogged down again.
