For what it is worth, cheating is 100% NOT tolerated.
If you have a new engine, fine, you can put links up to the source code, but any build that allows cheating with our builds, is not allowed.

We do NOT allow any sites that make it easier to cheat in Warzone.

UDK is not for Warzone,why?
1.
Q: Can I release a UDK game as open source?
A: The rights to develop and release a game for free are contained in the end-user license agreement (EULA). The EULA is also the license that governs the release of your game as it's built on UDK. You can't release your UDK project under terms other than the UDK EULA (like GPL, LGPL, open source, etc.). You don't have the right to encumber the UDK with terms that we have not already granted to you.

2. UDK does(or do) not support linux, while Zarel (i guess) said something about this game should be developed using cross-platform engine so we could get more player. try to search it in this forum i'm sure it's lying somewhere.

3. UDK need medium to high end nvidia graphics (my ATi leave all works to processor :D) in both development and playing while most players and developers(probably) using intel GMA.

4. assuming you're releasing it on non-GPL license
Consider this situation: 1) X releases V1 of a project under the GPL. 2) Y contributes to the development of V2 with changes and new code based on V1. 3) X wants to convert V2 to a non-GPL license. Does X need Y's permission?

Yes. Y was required to release its version under the GNU GPL, as a consequence of basing it on X's version V1. Nothing required Y to agree to any other license for its code. Therefore, X must get Y's permission before releasing that code under another license.
i'll add more reason if i have to :)

Edit : edit point no 2

Eizo, tell me your estimate of how many % use intel cards and i tell you what is the probability of getting these voting results if this estimate is true (:

all if them :lol2:
it should be probability between people who use PC, notebook with integrated graphic and notebook with dedicated graphic card. assuming all PC upgraded/ing to dedicated graphic (to support most new games) it could be sum up with notebook with dedicated graphic.

which means 1 intel vs 2 Nvidia /ATi. :augh:

That's what I tell you that the new game warzone 2100 will be fully transferred to the new engine, though it has been done somewhere half. Yes you have enough cards GeForce gt 8600 or HD 3870, and cpu max cong intel two core (2.00 ghz)

So it sounds like we are observing an event (of all of them missing the vode) with probability of

Code: Select all

These two points are really up to their developers, the first is more important (for them) to keep in mind.

this not a new game, i played this game since i was 8 or 9
MagvesT wrote:though it has been done somewhere half.
good luck?, i'm not good with license and EULA things and as far as i remember all code, game name, music, video belong to eidos so i'll leave it to Zarel or other admins
MagvesT wrote:Yes you have enough cards GeForce gt 8600 or HD 3870, and cpu max cong intel two core (2.00 ghz)
mine was Mobility HD 4330 + 2.1Ghz, last game i played that made with unreal are The Last Remnant <- overheat if i don't turn Air Conditioner. and splinter cell conviction <- keep crashing when play ing most FMV with sub(campaign).
TLR use high setting(medium quality of this game is sh*t, don't even ask for low) and max resolution (win7 made square box if i use lower resolution). SC Conviction use costum graphic and max res.

We are each other is not properly understood. If you would know Russian language, I would have you explained the accessible language. English is very abbreviated language.

:annoyed: excuse me everybody

Ну как бы Вам сказать ... Тут народ достаточно недвусмысленно намекает, что варзонку нельзя портировать на UDK по лицензионным соображениям. То есть совсем нельзя.
