Vehicle Testing Arena

Inspired by Dwarf Fortress introducing something very similar, how about creating a sort of test-map where the player can spawn vehicle designs and pit them against each other to test the pros and cons of various combinations of body, propulsion and weapon. Some sort of slider-bar or something for applying upgrades and experience might be useful as well.
