map editor wont work!!!

map editor wont work!!!
right so i got editworld so i can make warzone maps, and when i start i go to click on 'new' to create a new working space for my map but when i creat it i get 2 errors. 1) error readin IMD 2) error processing data set. i click ok and it just goes back to the empty black screen on left and blue screen on right with little black square at top. any idea why this may be doing this? any help aprecciated, thanks
