Is the free version- the full game?

i was a big fan of the trial version released long time ago, i wanted the full game for some time.
is this

the actual game that was released in 1999 atleast or its more than that.

I want to download the full game, i was curious since its only ~50 mb

Yes, it's the full game. It's an improved version of the actual game that was released in 1999.

The full game was also ~50 MB. The reason the two CDs combined were 1 GB is because they included cutscene videos, which our installer downloads automatically (instead of being bundled with them).

The new cutscene videos are 500 MB, because they use a newer, better format that has smaller file sizes.

The "HQ" vids are 540MB, the "LQ" ones are 160MB or so.

you guys really need to change the name of the vids.
it is very misleading to think that the "HQ" versions are even remotely high quality.
the "LQ" version should be renamed to "FMV-small" and "HQ" should be just "FMV-standard".
yes, I know that the source material is crap but making a label of "HQ" for crap is still crap!

Hey, the "HQ" is about as high quality as YouTube's "HQ" quality... we're not that far off.

Well the video's aren't of high quality as in youtube, because of full HD support etc

But quality is still good for video's of 1999

Oh, no, it doesn't match what YouTube calls "HD", but it matches what YouTube calls "HQ".
