Game refuses to respond on input when quiting the (dummy) videos

version:warzone 2.0.4rc2 windows build
I did a pause using the escape key and then a mission screen came up.
I could not resume the game.

"Mission screen"?
Perhaps one of those blue or yellow screens where in the original version the movies were displayed? There you just need to hit ESC till you are back in the game.
Or do you mean something different with "mission screen"?

No thats the one but since Esc is what I used for pause/menu screen it no longer worked for getting out of that mission screen(yellow screen where video would be played) and the game is stuck in that state.

Now I hit that bug myself.
PAUSED is displayed in the upper left corner of the Intelligence screen. It shows me the mission description but I can't click anywhere nor do any keys react.
I'll take the fake videos out. Then you dont get a silly blank screen anymore.

1. Revert r266
2. Start a new campaign, when the video comes start hitting ESC.
3. When the briefing (intel) screen pops up you see PAUSED in the left upper corner and wont be able to click a button.
