Thanks felipe, I use gimp almost exclusively and I draw most stuff by hand, using my wacom tablet ;)
And yes, a cactus would be awesome :)

I just may put stock WZ behind me for a long spell for this mod. :3

May I suggest the Saguaro Cactus. They are all over Arizona but there is a marvelous preserve of them just outside Tucson, just past Tombstone. Because of how they branch they often strike one as animate figures gesturing - often to comical effect . At least that's how they have struck me in person. They also scale over a wide range of heights so that could be reflected in cluster compositions.

It makes no sense, but I'm actually falling in love with this cartoon style for WZ. Can someone turn artefacts in to ACME crates? They'd prolly need to be bigger size than current artefacts so make ACME readable.

I dare to say putting anything into anything not connected to our game would be terribly wrong and a crime. Moreover a dagger into "droid's"? back. The cartoon environment at how it looks now is really cool, bit it shall be strictly maintained within the Warzone 2100 style, just cartoonised. If we start putting things from other games or so, we can mess it badly.

Then can I have Xiaoyu from Tekken and portals from Portal, and those cool boxes with items from Resident Evil 4?

Wrong way I assume. I dare!

Mero, this is a mod not a replacement of the stock distro. A mod should have the freedom to do just about anything. At least that has proven to be a healthy and robust tac in the greater gaming community for over a decade. Of course part of that dynamic is robust mod support that acknowledges in deed thier value to a game's longevity.

@mero: There's only one way to know what does and doesn't fit in this mod, and that involves some crazy experimentation ;)

Got some more done today, now I'd better go to sleep :)

Ah sorry, I again misunderstood, I thought it will be some sort of new tiles or something ok. I have this stron let me call it conservative approach to our game, strongly related to 2.3.9 which do not put me in good light here sometimes.

Yes, I understand, I wouldn't dare to somehow implay, I would only suggest, the rest is above. I agree.

I would also want to express that I am afraid about what might happen with our "history" here with time. I am also so protective that I send all my works to special e mail accounts with its previews, and also record them monthly on a external hard drive, just in case..

Still strong judgement from people who appeared here delighted with 3.1 worry me.

I of course do not say it is bad. It is amazing so many people cooperate and work so hard, but still.

:hmm:

aubergine: the artifact is a model not a texture.
I was thinking about the "acme" stuff :D.
But is difficult to make it look good in 2D...

And ... I don't understand why this happens.

Maybe we could have ACME factories instead? And replace artefacts with carrots or turnips?

Can we also turn repair cyborgs in to road runners? And engineer cyborgs in to Wile E. Coyote?
