Heavy cannons/heavy rocket bastion/artillery

Post by UUolf »

How do you use the heavy rocket bastion, and is there a way to make artillery shoot at targets in their range manually, or can i use a scout to target things????

The heavy rocket bastion works just like other defences, except its rather larger and has slightly more range than the standard non-indirect fire ones. Plonk it down and it shoot stuff that comes near it.

Artillery will shoot at visible units within their range, if visible unit is spotted by a sensor turret tank or other unit and is in range, artillery will fire.

You can assign "Indirect Fire support" to commander turret units so artillery structures will fire at the commanders targeted unit.

You can also use a sensor, such as the wide spectrum sensor

Hey, new question, if you lose all of your constustion vichles, and you production yard, can your ally (computer ally) give you one??\
ALSO, can why do artillery (rocket in this case) fire all the way across the map sometimes, and just do nothing other times?

If your ally presses F5 you get screen up where he can transfer selected units and/or power to you

rocket artillery bastion
One good thing about this game: there's no such thing in this game. Please make up your mind: rocket artillery or rocket bastion?
computer ally
They don't do it, but humans can (see above).

Already explained. Different sorts of sensors are used in order to target the artillery.

for every 4 arty you need one Counter battery. the more ordinary sensors you have the better. ie: more than one.

for every 4 artillery pieces. 1 counter battery sensor is required. unless of course that has been changed , and if so why the H E double hockey-sticks wasn't i told about it. :annoyed: if you need help in translation just ask. :)

Never heard about that (just a couple of years playing, i'm still new ... was it back in 1.10? ... why would anybody require that at all?)
