if your on windows.

make a shortcut and copy and paste this into it.

"C:\Warzone 2100_207_png\warzone2100.exe" --mod warzone2100-2.0.7_hotfix1.wz --mod grim.wz --fullscreen --resolution 1280x1024 --cheat

if your not using grim's mod leave out the --mod grim.wz.  also your resolution may not be the same... change it to fit your circumstances...  also  your pathways may be different - make sure to make that change (if different) as well.  also - take out the --cheat if your not testing maps or ai's or mods....  that is for development testing.... besides you dont need cheats for warzone2100 - you need practice. ;D

Punctuation is a luxury. ;)

In your Warzone folder, you need to create a mods/global/ directory, where you will put the .wz file.

I'm having the same textures problem with the hotfix as well.

When you play with the hotfix you get those wronglooking houses and when you don't they look correct?

That is correct.
However the hotfix was needed to continue to the 2nd campaign, afterwards once saved in the 2nd campaign I can load it without the hotfix.

There you go.

mission12ok.rar
This save is just before Campaign2, so you get the briefing and also the place is crashed without the hotfix.
Can't load this savegame without the hotfix.
Then check the buildings north, the textures are corrupted.

mission12nohotok.rar
Now I save IN the campaign 2, after the briefing, the game loads without the hotfix.
Note that the texture problems are gone on the buildings in the north.

Now last stuff, when you load mission12nohotok WITH the hotfix there also aren't any texture problems anymore.
The problem ONLY occurs when using the hotfix to advance to the next chapter of the campaign, but when you save after the switch and reload there are no texture problems any more.
The hotfix is also needed to switch campaigns for most.

mission13ok.rar
Just added it if you want to check the next map.
Save the crashed plane survivers map, full of buildings.
No problems on that map with or without hotfix.

I hope you understood my explanation,

If you manage packages for a GNU/Linux (or whatever other OS) distro then this applies to you. Otherwise it doesn't.
