Help installing Video Sequences please.

Hi there folks,

I just downloaded and installed the latest version of Warzone 2100 (2.3.5) and selected the video tick box at the install screen. During the install it failed to download and install the videos so I downloaded the standard quality videos from the website myself. I followed the "Video instructions" on the Download page which reads: "Video instructions: Place sequences.wz in Program Files/Warzone 2100/sequences.wz" I even created the folder "sequences.wz" but when I ran the game no videos?!! All I get is a screen telling me that the "Videos are missing. Download them at WZ2100.net"

Should I have them installed in Program Files eg - "C:\Program Files\Warzone 2100\sequences.wz" where "sequences.wz" is the newly created folder or should it be in My Documents eg "C:\Documents and Settings\MyName\My Documents\Warzone 2100 2.3\sequences.wz" again with "sequences.wz" as a newly created folder.

Can someone give me the correct path to follow and I'll have another go.

I'm still using XP if that's any help.

sequences.wz is the file name, not folder name.
So assuming you installed the game to c:\..\Program Files/Warzone 2100/ then you would copy sequences.wz to your c:\..\Program Files/Warzone 2100/ folder, then it should work.

I just assumed it would have to go in its own folder.

uh can you please tell me where in the site yuo've donloaded this please tell me cuz always wen i download the septeup says that theres an error while donloading the game videos.please tell me.

i also have problems installing the video sequences vie the installer it just wont download so i normally just do it manually from the download page although i'll tell ya what whoever transcoded the sequances to there current format could have done a better job even the normal quality sequences are really poor and blockey

Fixed that for you.

Edit: Downloading from the installer should work in the next version, currently it uses a dead mirror...
