Annoying Crashes

Post by Kardas »

Beta campaign, I don't know the mission number but it's the evacuation mission with hordes of collective vehicles attacking and an impending nuclear strike.  The first time I started this mission, I was using cheats and it crashed a short way into it.  I turned off debug mode in the config file and tried again.  It crashed at a different point.  I tried a third time, saving periodically, and it crashed even later.  Unfortunately, I saved just before this last crash and every time I load that file it immediately crashes.

Which file?  I've got .es, .gam, and a folder with lots of .bjo files and a .ttp.  They're all inside the 'savegame' folder.  I'm attaching the .es and the .gam, not sure which one you need.

the .es, .gam and the folder are all required, I suggest you zip them all up.

Sorry about that, I've never had to do this before.  Here's the .zip.

Are you using version 2.0.7 ? If so then I'm pretty sure the savegame itself is corrupted.

That sucks...I don't suppose there's a way to "uncorrupt" it?

No, unless you'd do it manually which could take up to a year.
