...paste screenshots into Paint (and save as PNG), not MS Word...
Re: Map Editor
Have you used the tutorial to set up edit world correctly?
http://docs.wz2100.net/map%20tutorials/ ... index.html
however in relation to your error you have not told it what data set to use I think or you are using the wrong data set?...haven't really used edit world in a while so I could be wrong now to start how have you set your directories, should be something like this . . without the debug bits. if its set to DATA and trys to load the data set from there it comes up with that error, make sure you load the data sets from SAMPLES
Something more helpful and simple to use than the tutorial is this file found here on your computer where you installed Edit World
C:\Beta World Editor 32 bit -128 by128 -png Beta (depending where you install it) and the file - Beta World Editor 32 bit -128 by128 -png Beta (Compiled HTML Help File)
On My PC that's where its found
Also To load a Data Set you can Click File -- Load Data Set -- either WarzoneDataC1.eds, WarzoneDataC2.eds Or WarzoneDataC3.eds

Re: Map Editor
make sure you use exactly what is there when you do the set directory page.

http://docs.wz2100.net/map%20tutorials/ ... w_map.html
READ the rest of the tutorial above - or at least the first 5 pages... if you have a problem reading it let me know.

Re: Map Editor
I have edited the directory image to show the full directories set up correctly (I Believe) If it would help I was wondering if this should be put up somewhere if it is not already to help new users to set it up. just an idea, and you should probably check to make sure its correct

Re: Map Editor
I see! both set-ups seem to work in allowing me to load up Data Set C1 cant get the other two to load up on mine, either way, I remember there being a file which fixed that problem on the forum somewhere, but who knows!
I'd follow lav_coyote25 instructions Zero-Omega he knows what he is on about more than me
Edit: I have attached the tutorial I used to set edit world up on my machine. (had to zip it couldn't upload it as it was.)

Re: Map Editor
sorry for double post(lol) on another note ive noticed that you cant load data sets 2 and 3 if u mess with the tile texture size.....it HAS to remain at 64...>.>
Re: Map Editor
There is no source available for the beta editor.
We can't fix it without that, and since it is windows only...
As for your problem, I think I recall reading something about those edge brushes crashing either on Coyote's docs, or maybe another forum post.

Re: Map Editor
I think this is what you are looking for Here Korusray I believe this fix allows you to load the other 2 data sets, I remember using it back in the day However you will have to be a rapidshare member as the free download has run out...if anyone has a copy of it could you please upload it again? I don't have it any more sorry =(
