just got to Beta base, but the transport never arrives.... I can defeat the area without it but the win never comes

You manage to hold off the initial assault without any additional units? I'm impressed.

Yes, this mission is pretty hard. Not at all as in the original game.
Personnaly, i think the solution is to build Cyborgs en-masse and only use my experienced renforcement vehicles for back-up them (they are all "top-tech equiped"). And use two renforcements (20 units) for destroy the ennemy landing zone at the South-West (if i use less units, a loss some of my experienced vehicles, and i don't want to).
PS. Oh, yes, Topic... Well, i have this bug the first time. But after a reload a have the renforcements.
