Wiki searching

Wiki searching seems broken -- sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, and in general it seems inconsistent -- for example, searching for 'pie' doesn't come up with anything sometimes, though i know there are both page titles and page text containing "pie".

also, after running a search, it deselects the "(main)" namespace on the next page load, which i find undesirable if the user wants to try several searches in a row.

It's a known problem. I already tried all kind of mediawiki config-options... but I'm kinda lost.
I'll take a look to it again in the next days.

ah. well it's not a major issue -- i must congratulate you on the quality of inter-page linking that exists to get between pages -- it's still quite navigable

The search should work now as expected.
Due to MySQL's fulltext index, searching for single words with less than 4 chars won't return any results.
