2c-Roughness corrections

I fixed some problems like:
-multiple oil locations hard to remember, so i placed "LZ" texture under each oil resource
-start position got stuck with scavengers, so i moved it out the road

Hello.

I think we can reduce number of oil resources at this map.
May be remove 1-2 oil resources..

agree. But 2 oil/player! IMO. But which one? I would say the one in the southeast-corner (position player 1) and the second one on the little hill/rock in the west (nearest to the base). But if we do that, then the idea with the LZ-mark is unnecessary because it is not so different to remember the rest of the oil-derricks. Maybe i am wrong.
In case the WZ-game ends in a draw , the game winner will be determined by penalty shoot-out.

Most importantly, terrain painting needs fixing.
Leave that map to me, i guess. And i'm already having a texture update for Vision.

What you mean? Can you explain what you want to change in texturing?

May be you can find good texture for oil resources? Because we need to make oil resources rememberable somehow.
Map Rougness contains ~12 locations of oil resources which player should remember if he want to play good at this map.
Redemptor painted oil resources by using 'LZ' texture, but this is look unnatural a bit.

First of all, need to make cliffs clear. You have really hard time reaching the middle oils.
Maybe that as well.

Removed one oil, made heightmap more rough near cliffs (specially wall cliffs around base), highlighted oils with plain concrete (but bigger patches), removed blocking trees around middle oils (you barely understand that you are blocked anyway), painted middle mountains with green for easier navigation.

Searching for the green painted mountains, i noticed after 10 minutes, that i forgot to switch off the glacier mod :stressed:
Hmmm-the scav-base downhill of the base is an excellent compromise between the original map and RBMW-Collectors version.

What oil was removed? Played this map 1 time. Concrete patches are not really helps to find oil.. not sure.. i have remembered oil locations on map so i can't say does it help to find oil or not.

Red were removed. Maybe remove blue as well?

Yeah, agree. Blue oil is on the choke point as the red oil, so must be excluded too

Could slow down the attacking enemy if you bother to defend it. But again it will also slow down your own unit...
