Warzone resurrection at moddb.com?
I think WRP is almost 'invisible' on internet/google,even though the development is very 'open'...
In my opinion someone who is very familiar with warzone2100 'history' should add warzone2100 to moddb.com gamelist and possibly create a entry for WRP there as a 'warzone2100 mod',lots of 'old' games/mods are hosted in moddb.com,WRP will definitely get more attentions/recognition from the modding ppl with various skills visit that site regularly.

Re: Warzone resurrection at moddb.com?
Filed to ModDB as a "Game suggestion" with me as a contact person:
Hi!
I'de like to suggest a game called Warzone 2100. Warzone is a former commercial (PS1 & PC), now open source (GPL), real-time strategy game. It was released in 1999 and was very innovative at the time, boasting 3D graphics, custom unit designs and a huge reseach tree. On the 6'th of December 2004 it was made open source by it publisher.
Since the open sourcing, the community has worked to clean up the code, make the game more moddable, modenize the graphics and scripting engines, and made it cross platform so it works on both Linux and Windows.
I shamelessly hope that putting an entry for Warzone on moddb, will give the game some more publicity amongst people with the know-how, to help the existing development community improve this old classic.
You can find the official website here: http://wz2100.net/
Cheers,
Christian Vest Hansen.

Re: Warzone resurrection at moddb.com?
It took me a long time before I found this website... I think there are a lot of potential players, developers, artists... out there who would like to contribute to this project, they just don't know the project is even there. It would be great if we could get some more people to cooperate!

I just checked moddb and warzone2100 is not on the games list yet.karmazilla wrote: It should have been listed already but I haven't heard a word

maybe bugging op's directly in their official irc channel is more effective and faster if they rarely check their 'suggest a game' message box...

I was in the IRC, but the OP's weren't available.
