Hi everyone.
Last time i tried to host a game to play with my friend my own map.
My firewall is completely turned off so that should be not the problem.
I can join a game and the games are listed.
but why i cant host a game?
Maybe bcoz im using HSDPA for my connection? (mobile internet)
Client = Warzone 2100-3.1_beta10
i also tried version 2.3.9 but it does not work.
Windows 7 X86
intel core2duo e3200
4 GB ram
Geforce 250 GTS
500 HDD (Western Digital)
Thank you for help.
Kind regards
Chris

Re: Cannot host a game
In order to host games, you need an external IP address (no matter whether it is static or dynamic, but it should be external, that is, capable of receiving incoming connections). Does your mobile internet provide you with one?
Also, what exact error do you recieve? Why do you think you can't host games in the first place? Did you try to make your friend connect to you by IP? (you don't need to be in the lobby for that)

Re: Cannot host a game
A mobile internet connection like a 3G USB Modem does not have the port 2100 open by default, and this can't be even fixed by you. As far as I know, no one has managed to open ports by themselves on this kind of a connection. You should try contacting your ISP's helpdesk and ask them if they could open port 2100 on your connection.TheChris80 wrote:Maybe bcoz im using HSDPA for my connection? (mobile internet)
Do you receive a random public IP address every time you connect to the web? In that case I suspect that your ISP can't help you.
