Text version. We're going to move to SQLite soon, though, which is why they're there.

Great to get such a speedy reply - thanks.. and no, I completely missed the linky in the 1st post... so thanks again O_O

Now to fathom out which files to download and install :P

That's also described in the first post:

"For every build, a debug and non-debug version is available. From these two the non-debug version will probably be the nicest & easiest to play with. The debug version, however, provides the most information, to well, DeBug, in other words fix (potential) errors."

(You can ignore the .sig files, those are just hash signatures that you can compare to check if the file was downloaded correctly)

Hmm... installed as per described but getting and error window about a runtime problem?

That's strange. Well, they are nightlies; stability isn't exactly guaranteed. Use 2.1 for now, and try the nightly some other time?

Is there a new svn builds server? Because the one posted in the first post is outdated.

Any news on the nightly builds? I'd really like to test the latest SVN versions, but I'm an absolute beginner in all this development/svn/compiling stuff..

2.2-beta1 is fairly recent.

Is 2.2-beta1 the same as the (almost) latest nightly?
Because the nightlies have new_terrain in it, but I don't see this in the changelog for 2.2 Beta.

But I'd like to play with the latst features AND new_terrain. That's why I asked if there'll be new nightly builds.

By the way, aren't the Betas build from the latest trunk? If I recall corectly, the trunk already has new_terrain, doesn't it? Why is it missing in the beta?
