Since I, or the other devs can't replicate getting desyncs in 3.1.2, we are requesting more help in order to track down what the problem is.
Personally, I have played over 50 games, using windows to windows, windows to linux, linux to linux, and linux to windows, with games ranging in size from 2p to 8p, and yes, those are actual clients, without any desyncs.
We need as much information as possible, as to what can cause it.

It looks like the desync happens when 1 player isn't setting their power level the same as the other players.
Once a desync happens, there is no way for the game to get back in sync for the player that went out of sync. That means, they are playing in their own reality, so, you might as well kick them from the game.
Please tell us who was in the game, what OS they were using (windows / mac / linux / bsd...) and attach the game logs & desync logs to that ticket as well.
Also include any other information that you think might help in tracking down this issue.
