whats wrong with acutal header?

and what is desired on new header?

whats wrong with acutal header?
It uses terrain textures that used to be present in master once, but are no longer present in 3.1.
and what is desired on new header?
To be based on the actual game.

P.S. Can't participate, cause i don't have a monitor that wide anywhere :(

I also like the same one. My only suggestion would be to include a more organized defensive structure array to make it look more representative.

A fortified base position in a picturesquq map. A base with some weakish AA, Hardpoints, walls, bunkers, a few strategic towers - and of course a compliment of Project bodied defending vehicles and borgs.

Add in some light bombardment from an enemy artillary source
Add in a small compliment of multi-pass VTOLS
Add in a coordinated set of small non-project-bodied forces with different arrays of weapons, with one trying to break through the defenses to the inner perimeter.

And take a few screenshots ^_^

And then add in a filter, and an accentuating point on the left or right hand side of the page - with an image for effect.

I'd suggest either an overlaid tank design schematic or a more humanist or artistic scene (examples: A child hiding in a junked track, a scavanger with a tank looming above, a cyborg, Dr Reed's cybernetic presence, the satalite over Earth, etc.)

hey, the header image on mainsite is about 850ko (about 10x more than the one on the forum), it take more then 5seconds to me to only load this image... and it take about 11seconds for someone with a 512Kbits connection... (still quite alot of people have this kind of connection) :geek:

it should be automatically cached by browser for next time use. if you want to make it a discussion maybe you could create a new thread for it :)
