Mission Error: Indestructible Transport Causes Mission Fail

The Mission information is (paraphrased) as follows:
- The Away Mission involving hiding behind a mountain-range to survive a nuke has been finished.
- Nexus has just merged with Gamma team.
- You are tasked with destroying them. (I think)

My actions:
- I first defended my base against VTOL strikes.
- Expanded northward to defend against land-based attacks. (none came)
- Had +50% of my Ripple-Rockets destroyed because I forgot some CB turrets, and then rebuilt them. :x
- Veni, Vidi, Vici. (north and north-west bases)

What followed:
- Nothing... (for a minute or so)
- Enemy transport (black) lands in the north-west base. (It was out-of-range, so I don't know if it did anything)
- I assign all indirect weapon units to a sensor unit.
- I focus fire on the transport.
- It slowly loses health as pepper-pots, ripple-rockets, and howitzers rain down on it. :lol2:
- It reaches 0 health and doesn't die. O_o (at this point I have about 10 minutes left on the mission timer)
- Rinse and repeat previous three actions, but while the transport is at 0 health.
- I get impatient/bored and assign all other units to attack it. :stressed:
- Nothing happens.
- I attack/destroy the north-east base. (and lose a lot of VTOLs in the process)
- The transport is still not dead, so I fly around the map with a VTOL looking for something I missed. :hmm:
- Nothing turns up, transport doesn't die, mission timer reaches 0, I lose. :annoyed:

What version of Warzone are you running?

3.2.3? One of the nightly builds?

This sounds like a bug in 3.2.1 where if you destroy the landing site of without letting the transport land once, it stays on the map forever. It should have been fixed in 3.2.2+.

As far as I know, no campaign tester has observed an enemy transporter act like this in our development builds.

This is an old bug in Gamma 03 that is fixed with master. I often ran in this bug with 3.1.5 or 3.2.x, but never during testing a master version.

In that case, I will do my best to replicate it AND record it. Are there any other things I should do to help this get fixed?

I think you should try lastest master build, where fix many known errors

The bug simply does not exist anymore as almost all of the mission scripts has been redone since the release of 3.2.3. If something like that happens then it would be a completely different cause.
Spoiler:
Saves from 3.2.3 will not work for master or the next release, just as a word of warning. You can play the master builds (http://buildbot.wz2100.net/files/master/windows/ for Windows) if you wish to do any testing or want a better campaign experience in general.

This situation has not been fixed. The very same actions do not destroy the transport.

It was fixed. Next releases will not feature enemy transporters getting stuck attacking the player (or in the development builds).

Campaign transporters will still be indestructible.

Yeah, that one happened in Gamma a lot. Looks to be some sound not being loaded. I am unsure if this still happens in the dev builds so I'll test a few saves on Gamma missions to be sure.

You can either:
1. Use cheat mode by entering "cheat on" into chat (press enter to type) and then typing "let me win".
2. Reload a save before the mission with the problem and try completing the problem mission.
