ok, I renamed everything with lower case letters but I do not know how to change the slashes.

I got it too finally work!
The addon.lev has the '\' instead of the '/'
Try and see if my map works for you.

Just open up the *.addon.lev file FROM THE .wz file, and load it into any text editor.
Then search and replace "" with "/"
Remember guys, you ONLY need 1 *.addon.lev file, and it should be IN the .wz archive.
Don't have another *.addon.lev file floating around outside the .wz archive. That is only asking for trouble.

This is YOUR map?
AFAIK, it is RBL-4NiK8r's map, and I am trying to work with him to bring some of the other maps he has done, and make it part of the installers.
p.s, you DON'T need the extra *.addon.lev file floating around, 1 is enough, and it should be inside the .wz archive.

Just curious, where did you get this map from ?
If you are up to it, how about writing a little FAQ about how you converted it, so others can benefit from your experiences.
Then it can be posted to the WIKI.

I believe I got it inside a big map pack from FilePlanet.
As far as converting it, I followed the directions and any questions I had were answered all in this thread.
Thanks for the help and hope it works for anyone who tries it.

Im talking about my teamwar map. Not the big one map. It's a really simple map.
Not too sure about putting the lev in the folder, unless the guy who made the batch file thingy changes it.
EDIT: has anyone used the map editor? when i used it to export a map, and run the editor again, it loses some files.

Please note, that only the creators of a map can re-convert/re-release a map.
Legally i mean, not technically.

The map I posted nor any of the maps inside the map pack were in any way afilliated to me.
I merely posted the map I was trying to convert to share with you guys.

Hi
I've just converted a map called "8c-vtol", but there's a little trouble:
When i put it into the map gpl folder and run the warzone, i choose this map to play, put when come the part to load the game, it ends suddendly
ERROR MESSAGE:
error: loadFile2: file wrf/vtol.wrf could not be found!
error: resLoad: failed to load wrf\vtol.wrf
error: Shutting down after failure
It's just mess this "vtol.wrf" to run, if someone have it, please, send a attachment to me

What do you mean?
The editor only uses .lnd files. Then when it compiles, it makes the .wz file.
You load up the *.lnd file in editor to make changes

Looks like you converted it wrong.
That should be IN the .wdg file already, so you have to hand edit it.
Post the original file before you converted it.
