Using a command-line based utility is not convenient for every one, same for converting text files back and forth (I assume that's how your program works?), but it looks interesting, I can see how it can save time for bigger projects. Support for more text files would be nice.

We actually used to have a full-fledged gui txt editor for wz (WZ Customizer Kit, written in VB), it can only run on windows though and would not support our new text format without source modification.

In any case, we are still in need of some sort of documentation, prefferably wiki, for a quick reference or if people decide to make their own txt editors, et cetera.

i disagree: in this case, a command-line utility is convenient for everyone since powerusers can leverage it, and if other users have trouble dealing with command line usage, then they're definitely not going to be script modders, but in any case, this is precisely the sort of utility that works perfectly with a graphical frontend that runs it behind the scenes.
