Editing a compiled map?

Post by DerGrosseChaot »

Hey guys...

i have the following problem:

I've made a map and it worked... It's fun to play for us, but needs more editing. But for some reason, the programmfiles are gone include my WIP.

Windows Software Window shows me, that it is installed... but there is nothing oO - It's gone - Without a trace... And i think, it has something to do with an other problem on my machine... My boot.ini also disappears after every reboot.

Scanned for viruses and found some... Now clean... The Problem with the boot.ini file is still not solved... But never mind...

My Question: Is there a way to edit an compiled map?

Sure thing, decompile it.
Use map2lnd converter, but you need to compile it yourself I believe.

http://developer.wz2100.net/browser/tru ... /map2lnd.c
and it ends here.

Thanks...

seems, that i have to make the map new. I don't have a clue how to compile the decompiler...

Isn't it ironic... Compile a decompiler to decompile a map.
