I do run PIESlicerDX (PIESlicerDX-PIE3-png.exe) on WIN XP
Got it from here

When I do open a file in PIE-3 Format, I get a "runntime error 62"
I did look around, what I could do to fix it, but found no solution.
Does anyone has please help for, which files do have to download from where?
I got also a WIN 2000 System and a WIN7 Sytem running.
On WIN 2000 this newer Version PIESlicerDX-PIE3-png.exe also causes the same runntime Error.
(Also I got the old version of PIESlicer and the old ocx-files that were ment to work with it.)

I did search the web to eliminate this runtime 62 error, with no succsess
No direct instruction, which files to download or something similar. Only the offer of several programs to fix the registry or something else.
(YOU REALLY DONT WANT THIS TO HAPPEN! ) Just MALware, mixing stuff up or deleating it and going after your bucks
Perhaps it is also no matter of downloading a certain file, but that there is something happening wrong while loading the PIE-Files, especially the png-file?
I am pusseled?

I still want to use the PIESlicerDX to add more connectors to a fortress, to use it at my MOD.
The old Versions of the PIESlicer (DX v82 and Update to DX v112) cant open the new PIE-3 format.
And this new one PIESlicerDX-PIE3-png causes the runtime error 62
At the Moment I just want to try to add this connectors, to be more weapons avilable for my fortress.
Need no texturing work or modification of the Shape of the models done.
Is there somewhere a fix or update around for PIESlicerDX-PIE3-png that takes care of this problem?
Did this occur to somebody else?
Or is it a problem of my Copmputer and my System?
Pershaps, someone might know help?

found out that it is possile to modyfy the PIE-files with Notepad++
At the end of the PIE file are the connectors are listed and the coorinates:
I did cange it to:
So I did add a connector
Will work no with that, and see, if it works out right for ma purpose.
Perhaps there might also a solution for the runntime-problem with PIESlicerDX-PIE3-png?
If someone knows an answer, it would be kind, to let me know.

I don’t see where you need to work in PIE3 format as the fortress in 3.1 and earlier versions is in PIE2.
You could edit the connectors by hand as that is the easiest way to add them.
I usualy work on models using Misfit 3D program MM3D in object format then i use the obj2pie.c found in the tools directory in your warzone files.

Stratadrake, the original author, was working on an updated PIE Slicer but alas I do believe RL whisked him away

Okay my mistake. I do work with PIE 2 format files. They do come with the png files. I do use these of the WZ 3.1.
Did set the connectors manually.
