Re: HEXUS's Mek Mod! (Don't get your hopes up...)
PREFABS:
"Prefabs" are unit designs pre-made, so that you have something to use before you design units. Currently, my idea for them is similar to the orbital drop plan, and they circumvent techtree requirements, but they are quite expensive. Some prefabs I have planned:
BULLPUP:
Body: Imperitor (custom body, obviously)
Propulsion: Tracks
Armament:1x MekMod Heavy Laser.
STRYKER:
Body:Warhawk
Propulsion: VTOL
Armament: 1x Autocannon.
CRUSADER:
Body: Myrmadon
Propulsion: Tracks
Armament: PAC
These aren't all of them, just the ones I have thought of now.

I made mention of three bodies in my last post, the Imperitor, Myrmadon, and Warhawk. I have two of these bodies made, the Imperior and Myrmadon. Take a look:
Imperitor (Note the extra armour on the front): Myrmadon:

No. These two are tank bodies, just because I'm still thinking up mech bodies(yet another reason I don't want to work on dis alone.
But on they Myrmadon, the propulsion attaches in the space inbetween the two rectangular spots, in that housing-looking cavity.

Just to clarify - are you intentionally spelling it "Myrmadon" instead of "Myrmidon" (the Greek mythological warrior-race)?

Several things, Roux. Earlier, you requested Missile Pods. Those are planned, don't you worry. In several varieties, actually. And you were asking if you can make some sketches of ideas you had. I say go ahead, If I like them I'll use em'. You'll never know if you don't ask, I always say. Sorta.
Anyway, I come again bearing gifts! A propulsion and a body, to be exact.
The body is is a medium sized one called a Chimera. It has four turret spaces (one on each side of the body, one on each arm). It's well armoured, leaving you striding into combat liek dis:
And the enemy like this:
(accompanied by a sudden clearance of the bladder)

legs need a little more refinement in my opinion, while the body looks as if it's from mech warrior ^_^ any inspiration there?

Very good concepts, but if you're planning to do actual ingame models you should have a look at poly by poly modeling (you can enter editmode by pressing the tab-button and then you'll be able to move the vertices of the cubes and cylinders)
