Warzone Configurator/Mod Manager

Post by BlueMaxima »

Yeah, I went and made one. Woo.

Features:

-Has the ability to turn on/off windowed mode, shadows, cheats, sounds and change the resolution
-Supports any extra command line options you want
-Built in iframe allows you to visit the website, the Guide, the Developers page and the Forums inside the manager
-Small mod manager program - looks into the mod folders and lists them on the screen
-Can activate one global mod, one campaign mod and one multiplayer mod at the same time
-Settings save into an INI file and the executable is portable
-Launches Warzone from inside the manager.

Setting up:

-Extract the two zipped files into the Warzone directory
-That's it!

Notes on using:

-Follow the instructions to the LETTER. Otherwise, you might get errors in either Warzone or the manager itself.

Disadvantages:

-The program can only load one mod of each type at a time, and no music mods. If there's actually interest in this, I can upgrade it easily to support more than that.
-It's an ugly SOB, I know, but it's hard to make it look good.

Download follows. Windows only. May or may not work in WINE, I can't say. To close it, press "ESCAPE" when you're in the first screen (with the Play! button in the bottom-right corner)

What language did you use?
In general, if you see glowing, pulsating things in the game, you should click on them.

I don't know... Unless you hang out at Mitzi's too - but we don't talk about that in public...

Remember it needs to be in the same folder as Warzone 2100 to work at all.

A word of advice, ask a dev to add a link to the newest version to your first post. It's realy annoying to see the download count on the old version of a program to climb while the new on stagnates.

Alternatively, simply edit your first post. I'm fairly sure that's possible now.
