DyDo v2.1.2 crashes on loading for me, with the following error:
'syntax error, unexpected TRIG_SYM, expecting IDENT or EVENT_SYM' at scavfact.slo:99
Token: 329, Text: 'doResearch'

I'll download 2.3.0 (I've been running RC1a) and see if that holds up.
Yes, it still crashes with 2.3.0.
I'm running the Mac OSX version. 2.1.1 as it comes in the package is ok; don't know about if I
add it the way I added 2.1.2
CNC-Assualt (sic) generates a few warning messages but loads ok with the standard AI.
Edit to add: The crash happens on map loading, not on overall game menu startup.

Maybe something is wrong with research events on DyDo-Scav AI
Try removing the DyDo-Scav AI from the DyDo 2.1.2 while it's not fixed.

They just combine the forces and research speed is twice as quick. Each AI pursue his own research path, which is identical only if the AI type (Standard,Turtle,VTOL or Cyborg) is the same one.guciomir wrote:when 2 Dydo's are allied, how they cooperate with research?

This is an issue on the scavenger AI, I have fixed it now but I still need to upload it on the svn. you can get the scavenger AI from the DyDo website. Use it to replace the scavenger AI included in DyDo 2.1.2.kringled wrote:DyDo v2.1.2 crashes on loading for me, with the following error:

The AI loads and loads maps now after I replaced the scavenger files and rezipped up the folder. Interestingly, the challenges do not show up in the challenges menu, I'm not sure how I messed that up. I can start up a skirmish with a similar (but not necessarily completely identical setup) though, so I'll give that a try when I have some time.
