Faction colours in the campaign...

Hi,

Does anyone remember what the faction colours were in the campaigns?

* Project
* Scavengers
* New Paradigm
* Collective
* Civilians
* NEXUS

I remember the civies in cam2 being red and the enemy factions only by the color of their units bodies. You can always restart the campaign and use biffer baker to help rush you through the campaign (or whatever cheat works best).

Scavengers are always cyan or pink.
Not sure if you can find out the color of civilians based on this video, around 21:00.
There was also the color of satellite uplink centers in some beta missions, which was yellow.

The player can choose red, pink or cyan as their faction colour for the campaign = what colour will scavs and civilians use in that scenario?

aubergine, in fact they use pink there, but it's hard to distinguish anyway (especially with such monitor settings like I had at that time plus size of minimap ).
I see only two real solutions for that, by default enable friend-foe-colors (as Kreuvf suggested as workaround) or do not let change unit color (but that has drawbacks, red ones are really much more visible on map - only not on minimap).

Or potentially update faction colors, especially Scavengers (no difference except minimap) and maybe for Collective. White and gray for first ones and cyan for latter.

But there are now 16 possible colours - simplest solution seems to be to replace the red, pink and cyan choices on game options menu with choices from the latter (for teams 8-16) colours that weren't available when the campaign was first developed: colour palette

I don't want to lose red here as choice, walkthrough was done with red units for a reason.

Perhaps each non-player faction could have a secondary color to fall back on in case their primary color was chosen as the player's color? For example, New Paradigm units could be orange, Collective units could be cyan, and NEXUS units could be dark red if their primary colors (yellow, white, and black respectively) were chosen as the player's color?

Sorry. I just remembered that the New Paradigm's color was Orange instead of Yellow. Yellow was a more recently-added color if I remember.
