Have played this game many times over 15 years or more and finished it too. Recently after coming across it again I downloaded and played again. Wow , in this penultimate game my missile silos were demolished before I could even research the final code. Tried again and failed exactly the same! So was pleased when I read on this forum that others were failing to so it wasn't cos i'd lost it!! Tried the tactic that I read of putting heavy armour round the silos which was perfect , though constantly building factories at my three other bases and producing trucks to build and repair walls , buildings etc over and over again , at the second attempt I finally reached the final mission.
