My warzone maps (from duda)

Hello,

i play warzone since 2010 on linux ubuntu (now 12.04) in skirmish-singleplayer mode
but a few days ago i get new FlaME files and try it to run on linux
works great - so i start to made maps

here is my first map (CC0-license do what you want)

130 x130 tiles (mostly symmetric)

4 player with scavengers (4 scav. bases)

DA_thirstygecko2 a 4 player map with scavangers

190x100 tiles arizona tileset
4 player (full bases on the gecko-shaped plateaus and population)
beware of the many scavangers becaus they attack your base from beginning
8 oil derricks on base + 2 near base (+ oil drum) and more ones in the scavanger bases
oil drums on the gound near the gecko belly and also in the scavanger bases

its mostly symetric but little different in population and emplacement
(tested in skirmish mode)

thanks - yes i'm a new map maker - a newcomer (the map maker is my new favourite toy)
but the next one is bigger (approx. 200x200+) and more complex (maybe a real artwork) - today the whole day i make snowy cliff tiles
i think it is finished on weekend

I'm looking forward to seeing you again

her is my next map called 5 fists
(CC0 - Take it or leave it!)
includes base, emplacement and population
size 218x218 tiles rocky tileset with snowy mountains

11 oil per base (most of them in the mountains - fingers)
+ 2 oil on every isle = 10
+ 2 oil per corner = 8
+ 5 oil in the center

Nice going! I'll give these a try when I get the next iteration of Cam 4 out. It's taking up ALL my time as of current, trying to get things fixed.

I like that! Will also test it for gameplay when I have more time but from the design its "warzone-related" and I am surprised
that nobody else discovered it (including myself) - great job!

called DA-europe 250x230 tiles rocky tileset
inspired from real terrain

now we can explore europe in warzone2100 on a 10 multiplayer map
oil is enough for everyone - a very good tipp is to explore island and other isles for oil with hover-truck

i played a lot in skirmish with new beta10 version - and i realy like this map

That map might be my favourite map of all wz!!
But the positions of the bases look a bit unbalanced and very close...
