You guys should make some stuff for cutscenes that will not be ingame like some places, trucks, cars and some building wrecks...

I hope you guys make good cutscenes and not something unprofessional.

This is an open source game...
It doesn't matter if something is professional or not.

Yeah, sure. Yeah. Of course. Why not. We were seriously bored down there wondering what to do all these years. All we needed was a leader. A great leader that will unite the community, guide us and show us the path in the dark. A yet unknown schoolboy genius telling us what to do (:

wow, I missed this. Amazing! You used my textures exactly as I imagined. :3

Thanks man, your textures are always a joy to use, they simply work very well together with anything.

I played around with the new buildings and some GLSL shading in blender and got this :)

Ambient occlusion has been baked for all surfaces, otherwise the scene is realtime rendered.

.

When I see art like this its common to think of fab cut-scenes. But more than that I think of experiencing actual GP in such a WZ game world which would involve the the "Drive-Battle" Mode of the PX1 version of WZ fully implemented for the PC. Not something that would be practical for the way competitive WZ MP has to be played currently but could be thoroughly integral to the various SP experience modes (CAM, SKI & Challeges), which comprised more than 50% of the fan base's pre-lib GP pref (I suspect that this ratio still holds though my metrics are dated to retail). In other words, this art for me calls for total visual immersion GP which may also be part of the future of WZ. :)

Make that one a new backdrop image in the next release. SERIOUSLY.

Yeah, that image has serious backdrop potential.

IIRC, the bdrops need to be a certain size. The current trunk versions all seem to be 1024x1024.

Someone knows how to draw. What rendering system/software are you using?

This image is amazing! :) I especially love the Command Center, would do good closer to the foreground

EDIT: Sorry for the double post, something seems to have went wrong or it can just be my own fault for this. :?
