Both of them look like they would make good Art Revolution backgrounds imo. Keep up the good work :)

Jorzi, that first image would be really nice as a random menu backdrop. If you send me a 1024x1024 rendering, and I'll add into rotation.

About ingame, these are, in fact, the ingame models. The shading is, however, much more advanced, although it is fully doable with opengl 2.0 shaders (dynamic lighting, normal and specular maps, SSAO filter), so it could indeed look like this ingame in the future ;)

I made a 1024x1024 png version with added displacement to the ground :)

i must know the texture from what software.....

Blender+GIMP only. Ground texture downloaded from cgtextures.com (no license problems with those). Procedural camouflage with blender. Everything else is hand painted/modeled from scratch. (no easy way I'm afraid). Oh and python texture was originally made by olrox ;)

...Please hurry up with those new models, they look awesome. This is really great work by you guys, and a visuial upgrade will make it much easier to get more people intrested in WZ.
