Looks cool!!!
(And one doesn't even see that the walls have usually wrong shadows. :) )

I once saw an image of WZ with _lots_ of rockets flying through the screen. Would be cool if we could get one like that, with Grim's textures and shadows and all. :)

And we definitely have to have at least 1 screenshot with fortresses, they just look way too impressive. ;)

Grim's textures have water textures... They are also transparent, you can see the ground through the water. :)
Terminator: If we could get similar screenshots with the current engine, that would be cool...

Actionscreenshots. :)
Like those in your sig or your avatar. They look great, imo.
If you can't get them with the current engine, maybe we can tweak it a little bit. (I think rockets are missing the fire nowadays, which is shown on your shots.)

Of course PNG screenshots would provide better quality as well, but then again I'm still working on that (since 12 hours ago). So PNG screenshots might only be there after a couple of days from now.

nice thing to do, if you have the capability, is bump up fullscreen anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering to maximum, then load a game in wz. sure, you might be getting 2 fps, but the screenshots will look a lot better

TRUNK now only supports PNG (no JPEG anymore) so screenshots are now made in PNG format. Which is somewhere between a factor 6 and 10 larger in filesize but lossless.

the quality of screenshots is improved after jpg->png screenshot format change:

with bumpmapped city tileset + 2x sharpened droid hubs/weapons + tweaked building textures,then converted to jpg to reduce the size a bit(it was 1MB+ as png)

Image

also made myself an avatar  :D

Good job.

I think the most important thing for a screenshot is that it can show why warzone is better than the rest. So try figuring out what makes warzone special first. Afterwards think of how you could make that clear in a single screenshot. And finally, make your screenshot look cool => No empty backgrounds, boring parts,...

Example:

for me, artillery is what makes warzone special
=>
I could show that be making a screenshot with lots of flying rockets this could be IN AIR , AT IMPACT , AT LAUNCH , ...
=>
work out the details: how much artillery would i need, how should i position the camera, where should i geographically take the screenshot (rocky's, city,.. + cliffs or flat terrain, precollapse structures or not, should the shot include a base or some units to fill up the background,...)

Or maybe you should just play warzone and when you come along something that looks really good just try capturing it the best way possible.
