Cant install latest version of WZ2100

Im using ubuntu 12.04. I downloaded the game from the software center. When i try to play the game in multiply i get the error i need to upgrade to the lastest version. Im a Linux newbie. I was looking in the download section to find out how to upgrade the game but couldnt make sense of it. Can anyone help me with with grading this game. I love playing it on windows but hate windows. HELP

You can just download the source and install the needed libs then follow the compile guide

let ubuntu open with archive manager and then extract it to your home folder
open a terminal and follow instruction in compile guide
