yes i know.. it is just subtraction

flamers have 3 parts in damage
1) immediate damage (equal to turret damage), formula: damage*propulsion_modifier - thermal armor
2) continious damage (equal to turret damage * incendiary time) formula: (damage - thremal armor)*incendiary time
flamer have incendiary time = 4
3) constant damage, forgot formula. but i remember it was about 10 damage per 15 seconds

parts 2 and 3 apply only if target was burned up

constant damage was very valuable for first early-game tanks, but i forgot formula

and repeat test
So did you repeat? I know what the incendiary damage is and how to see whether the unit is burned up or not, and i'm sure the pause is equal in all test cases.
flamer have incendiary time = 4
41*5 is way over the hp of the tanks in question, still they survive.

just repeated your test several times
bug tank also died in some cases when 2 flamers attacked 1 time
burned up bug tank (repair turret) cannot survive in that test

ah and i found new selfrepair feature, if you set repair units to "hold position" they they use selfrepair

did you tested with hold_position on?

Ok, i'm slowly starting to understand things; you won this round :3 Since incendiary damage will be fixed anyway (regardless of their being overpowered or not), it's probably actually better to figure out what exactly do we expect from them.
