why you cannot just test it? dont believe??? =>> test
for testing you can set damage for inferno to 1 and attack hardpoint, and you'll see - hardpoint will die fast enough

simple calculation: inferno damage to hardpoint without indendiary damage (max research level)
max(130*0.1 - 76, 130*0.1 /3) = 4 damage from 1 shot

I have observed it thousands of times. I have never seen a wall burn, unless damaged by bombs. Never. I mean, completely never. Absolutely never. In no game version in several years.

I will test and post a video when i can get to the PC that is able to run warzone.

inferno have only 5 second of burning, may be you should click mouse faster and check hp :)
without incendiary damage hardpoins should be invulnerable to inferno (very low damage), but in fact we can kill hardpoints with inferno

Yeah, i see that inferno and plasmite tank turrets can ignite hardpoints.
Regular flamers either can't do that or do too little damage (the former, i think).
Flamer or inferno cyborgs can't burn hardpoints.
I didn't observe any randomness in that. They either always burn or always fail.

If burn radius < 64, it always fails. If burn radius > 90.50966799187808312, it always burns. If burn radius is in between, it sometimes burns and sometimes fails (depending on where it hits). Don't know whether burn radius is in between for any weapons.

Sounds like another one of those complaints about flamers being OP. I may have said this before, but perhaps we need to change how burn damage is calculated, like, say, applying weapon multipliers towards what's taking burn damage. For example, hardpoints and walls that are burning would take 10% as much damage as normal due to Flamers doing 10% damage towards hard structures.
