weapons now have 100% accuracy

Post by andrvaut » 10 Jan 2018, 19:17

I came across such a curious patch not reflected in the Changelog.
https://github.com/Warzone2100/warzone2 ... d70f5620c1
I think this should be added to it.

As far as I understood from the discussions found at the forum there were still additional corrective changes that should lead to an accuracy of ~ 80%
But I can not find them immediately. Who can share the current accuracy description?

As the commit says, all direct fire weapons now have 100% accuracy. Indirect weapons still have accuracy, as before.

It is indeed a bit curious that it isn't mentioned in the Changelog, though.

I found roll back patch:

but I'm still confident that precision works differently than in 3.1.5

Ah, yes. I have the memory of gold fish. One difference that remains is that there is no difference in accuracy between short range and long range anymore.

What happened to Optimal Range, Short Range, and Long Range? It has a purpose for someone really dumb to play.
