There was some kind of change that makes all the maps have a incredibly long filename with a bunch of numbers instead of how it was before.
When you go to pick a map it has a bunch of duplicate names in the map list and the map preview shows the same image for each of them.
Is this a bug?

Re: long map filenames?
You can rename the file to anything now and it still shows the same map name and map preview.

Read the changelog for beta11?

Yes, read it, I just don't understand how do we know which map is which now, everything about them is the same except the filename.

I now have 6 map names that are the same and 6 map previews that are the exact same.

Re: long map filenames?
Assuming the hash code works as intended the four maps with different hashes mean that there are (at least) four different versions of the map around, and you didn't know which one of those you had before either. You just would have joined a game and if the map differed, it'd desync. (Not sure where the copy thing comes from, I assume an intended mouse click became a drag and so copied it, and if the map without hash is a different one again or the same as one of those with hashes.)Paul wrote:Yes, read it, I just don't understand how do we know which map is which now, everything about them is the same except the filename.

Re: long map filenames?
Could the hashes be shrunk down a bit by using base-36 instead of base-16?

Re: long map filenames?
Could some of those maps be the same and just packed differently? And what happens when a player reaches the limit of maps? Does Warzone display the map automatically when the map is downloaded from the host even though they have to many maps? I think the limit is 140 maps each category, is that correct?
