Please Help

i installed the application in C:\Program Files and i am trying to add maps. i downloaded the wz files from here went to move the files to "My Documents/Warzone 2100 2.3/maps/ " as instructed to by the FAQ of this site but was confused to find that the folder doesnt exist. i created said folder on own n inserted the files n upon launch warzone did not register the new maps. i also tried to add the maps folder to my warzone folder in my program files n this to was to no avail. can someone please help?

What operating system are you on?
For vista and win 7 the directory should be in C:\Users\%yourusername%\Documents. (vista/win7 equivalent of XP's "My Documents")

Also remember that the list of maps on the game set-up screen is usually filtered to 4 player maps by default - did you click the "*" button to list all maps (or the number button to show maps with that many players)?

i reverted to XP due to programming needs but i think i have it now thanks for your help guys
