taking screenshots

Post by neo_dragon2k »

ok here is the deal. I have a new computer and ive built a map for WZ with a second on the drawing boards; but the problem is that the "F10" button controls the volume and whenever i press it.. of course it increases the volume; but it doesn't take any pictures. Ive looked in the key mapping on WZ and it wont let me change the button and ive tried to find something on my computer and it doesn't seem to have anything to let me turn off the options.

any one have any ideas on what i should/could do?

is this a laptop / notebook ???? if so - you probably have another key combination to get that function. should be in the owners manual. :) if this is some other type of computer - same rules as above - read the manual. :)

also!!! forgot that print screen should also work. but then you will have to leave to paste the screen capture manually into a graphics program - ie: paint.net or GIMP.... either one will do. even, :stare: ugh :stressed: , paint if your in windows....

If this is a mac laptop or even some pc's, you can hit the Fn key + the other key (The one that has the symbol over it - like brightness) and it will use the key as normal f10 key.

Well i've seen non-mac laptops doing that. Extremely inconvenient. Yeah most likely Fn+F10 will do it.

Most times when folks have distorted or unplayable games its graphics card drivers that need updating.

Try and get the newest drivers maybe..good luck

Let me guess... Intel GMA HD video? I heard that only 3000 series is more or less usable for games.
They even got OpenGL 3.0 for 2000+ series in latest drivers. So try intel site for new drivers...

He means that the only thing that affects opengl performance is your graphics driver, which is unrelated to your operating system.
