Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you
installed software in a non-standard prefix.

Alternatively, you may set the environment variables FREETYPE_CFLAGS
and FREETYPE_LIBS to avoid the need to call pkg-config.
See the pkg-config man page for more details.

I tried this to install freetype2 but
Code: Select all
$ sudo apt-get install libfreetype2-dev
[sudo] password for william:
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
E: Unable to locate package libfreetype2-dev

Does anyone know the package name for freetype2?? :hmm:
Because I thought it's package name was libfreetype2-dev
I was using ubuntu terminal
I also have legacy on windows 8.1
regards William
Nevermind Figured It out!
Apparently it's package name was actually libfreetype6-dev
