Questions

Post by Sherrie »

My spouse and I have been playing warzone 2100 for years....we have gotten new computers, upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit, and I am fixing to download the current version you have. Is there any problems running this version on my new system. Also I would like to know if my old (real old) maps will work on the new version.

thanks

Shouldn't be any issues.
Yeah, you can transfer over the maps as well, everything that worked on 3.1.2 should work on 3.1.3.

Your post does not say if you are were playing on very old version of Warzone or a more recent version.

How old are the maps? I believe the map format was changed a while ago. The old file type is .wdg and the new file type is .wz

I found the error....maps were a separate directory in My Documents on Win XP....they are .wz files...my game dates back to when you bought the disk and loaded it....
