Fullscreen not working

Howdy, i recently switched to a 2015 15" mac book pro, and seeing as i was always a fan of war zone i quickly downloaded the game to rejoin my friends online. However whenever i try to put it into fullscreen the display is either too large or too small and the curser display is no longer actually ontop of where i am clicking (can make adjusting options or quitting the game a pain). Ive spent nearly 4 hours now adjusting to various resolution settings both in and out of the game settings, but to no avail. Admittedly i am not familiar with macs but i know it should work because my roommate has the exact same computer and runs war zone just fine. Does anyone have any ideas what i could do to get my fullscreen to work so i could go back to playing the game?

You could modify the config file by hand, and set it up that way.

Search for "config" in a Warzone related folder.

i tried that initially, but if i change it to a non standard res it doesn't even launch

his worked by default, all he did was click full screen and it worked. Ive tried to identify what setting i may have that is different from his but from what i can tell all relevant settings are the same. Ive even reset my computer to default settings as well as reinstalled the game numerous times, but nothing has worked.

Why would it launch if it is non-standard?
For what it is worth, SDL is control of how the window / full screen works.

So, if you have issues with "full screen" mode, and SDL asks the display manager for that resolution, and it says 'can't do'... not much we can do.

However, you can try window mode that as big as the full screen, and see if that works.

We don't have any mac devs so, hard to say exactly what is wrong.
Do the logs show anything of value?

@vexed not from what i can tell, of course there could easily be something I'm not catching. I don know if this helps but I've noticed that when i change my computer display it doesn't effect the fullscreen display, just the windowed display (sorry if I'm not giving very helpful information, I'm not that great with computers i just know the basics).

UPDATE i was bored and was trying to figure out what was wrong with my resolution again, but while in the 1280x800 resolution whenever i try to open the video options tab the game crashes and i get the following error message. To get the resolution back to normal i have to go into the config file and change it back. I hope this message means something to y'all.

That seems to point to that SDL is getting back invalid data for some reason.
I can't really do anything more with this, but, all isn't lost.

If we could get a mac person to compile our master branch, that uses the newer SDL 2.x, and that fixes a ton of bugs for all platforms.
Just need to find a mac person who can install xcode, and the SDKs, and knows a bit on how to compile stuff. :stressed:
