cant play with my friend?!?!?!?!?!? please help!

hi me and my friend both have this game.

Why is it that when I host a game at my house, i get connection to the "ports" but he cant get a connection at my house ???
when he has a connection at my house, i cant.

what cant we both play the game together?? we are using same internet..

I don't know what you mean.
If you host at your house, and the ports are open on router & FW, he should be able to connect from anywhere.
If you are both at the same house, then connect via IP, not the lobby, since your router doesn't understand.

I need to see logs to see what exactly is going on.

I done it through IP address... It found the game but when I click on it to get in the match, it just jumps back to the games list menu with list of online games.

If you click join via IP address, and you type your LAN address, it should bring you into the game.
Still need to see the logs.

The versions of both must be the same, upgrade to 3.1.2

So here is what we do we both load the game... I click multiplayer then host game and image 1 comes up... Then my friend goes on multiplayer and join by IP address and this comes up and when he clicks on it this happens then it goes back to games list... (From bottom to top in pictures)

Your last image shows UPnP is working, so that is good.
However, after that point, you hit the 'start hosting game' button, then, the other player on the LAN goes to multiplayer->join-> IP then enter in 192.168.0.10 and it should work.

You can't join via lobby, since your router isn't capable of that.

sorry, i see you mentioned that the port 2100 is working and that's good....

do i need it for a LAN game? like say i have two computers on the same wifi network. do i still have to enable port 2100?

also in a completely different note i installled WZ on my second computer and it sees port 2100 but my WZ on first computer does not... so i might have something on my second computer which my first computer does not.

using ubuntu 15.10 (i think) 64 bit.
