Can't get cheat mode

I'm loving the game but have not been able to switch on cheat mode. I put the game on the D drive to save space and have tried to type in D:\Warzone 2100\warzone2100.exe"--cheat and variations on that theme to C: without any luck. What am I doing wrong?

i dont know if the one you have included is the one your attempting to use but as you will notice ...

there needs to be spaces ie: --(whatever) --(again) --(etc)

No, I think skirmish counts as multiplayer for the game and you can thus not cheat.
But feel free to try it and tell if I was wrong.

some cheats do work in skirmish like "work harder" "give all" "easy" "hard" "biffer baker"

i havnt tried all cheats because i just cant remember them all when playing the game (yea im blonde lol)....

so then its maybe a good thing i spent all that time (over 4 years) gathering all info on warzone then eh? Documents project 4.8 can be found in a downloadable form - due to the site it was hosted on went down. see: http://www.coppercore.net/~wztoys/modules/news/

i only said i couldnt remember what the cheats where... not where to find them... and i find that the wiki is more dialup user friendly

I tried some codes (biffer baker, work harder) but I can't get energy code to work. "Whale fin" does nothing, same as "Show me the power". Case sensitive? Anything else?

Whale fin should just prevent your power from being used (instead the necessary power is draind from an infinite pool or something).

I remember I had a save game cheat that gave me everything at the start of the game. Although the research later on screwed up the build list, it was still fun to watch the horde of scavengers get owned by 2 assault gunners, and then later on bulldozing the first paradigm base with Nexus heavy chassis + heavy cannons and ripple rocket/earthshaker bombardment.

...Unfortunately, I can't find it anywhere now .....

whale fin = only works in the campaign. does not work in multiplayer/skirmish.
