Could not use number key select team

Hi, I'm using ubuntu 14.04
and this is the game version I used.

Usually I can can assign group used ctrl + NUM, then press the NUMBER to select group.

But I don't know since when, I pressed the number key with not responds.

So I used the debug mode to seen what happened.

I have already assigned the group, and press number 1.

I try to purge the game and reinstall, still the problem.

Try to reset your keymap.
Click the trash can icon a few times in the options screen for the keys.

I have the same problem because on my laptop, to enter a NUMBER, you have to type shift+key, so if I want to assign a team to a number, i'd have to type CTRL+SHIFT+key, which doesn't work anyway because my system probably uses that combo for something else.

Your best bet is to change key shortcuts in the game options.

I had try this way, No work.

Huh, never heard of a laptop that did that for numerical keys...I know some do that for the function keys.
What machine is it exactly?

I've been getting that: press the number key to select a team and it does not work. What does happen is the team is selected for an instant and then deselected. I can make it happen by going to the research screen and then leaving it. To fix the problem, pressing Escape twice clears the problem (it took me a while to work that out).
