Fisheye in 4K

First post wasn postet due a failiure from forum or somithing ... anoying ... juyt reloaded the Page after typing a whioole book in here ...

So again..

Hello,

i tested wz21k with my 4k monitor, o got a heavy fish-eye-effect.

workaround cooulfd be to change the fov, but i cant find the option for.

is there a solution or someone who have the same problem ? :o

Did you try changing the video settings in options in the main menus?

A solution is not to use 4K resolution, use something lower.
While not the best solution, it would work... and nobody on the dev team has a 4K monitor to test fixes.

you could add the fov option btw. I don't think you need a 4k monitor to test it. :geek:

You only see too little to have an idea of how it looks.
But you can make full png screenshots (jpg screenshot didn't work for me o_O).

The perspective distortion is well known for a long time now and becomes more visible with higher resolutions. I have also made my thread about it a long time ago. :?

vex, does this make widescreen had more view than 4:3?, if it's then what about eyefinity, does it get more view or it will scale up to fit every screen.

Warzone is a 4:3 game mainly (all UI elements), so, unless we want to rewrite lots of stuff, we need to introduce the dreaded black bars to make it look correct.

I still think playing at a lower resolution is the best answer, since then you don't have to look at a oddly sized UI as well.

So, yeah, we can hack it to something that looks more or less... erm.. close to 4:3, but, that introduces more issues that I rather not fix at this time. :stressed:
