How does that work then?


I thought there was a separate map file for each section too?

How does *what* work?

It is all in the scripts. Everything. Really.
Look at the campaign scripts.

Section? You mean level? No, some level types do not have maps, but just new units. From what I remember. But now you are getting on the edge of what I know, so you would be better of actually reading the campaign scripts yourself.

By section I meant area of the big map.

Like for Arizona there is the first level which is just the top left corner with the 4 scav bases. Then another area added underneath (3 scav bases & little sensor) and finally the other half with all the NP idiots. What I thought : these were all separate maps just put together like a jigsaw.

But apparently like you said, it is just units in the "separate" files that make it look like there are other maps for these too.

I'll definitely do more research into this. Once I manage to get EditWorld working of course -_-.
