@Per - regarding command line options, this is the reference everyone seems to go to: http://developer.wz2100.net/wiki/CommandLineOptions

IMHO debug() should output to the wz log file, although it might be nice if it output to some other file in the logs folder -- filename being based on map filename + timestamp? That being said, seeing debug messages in context of main log file, eg. where error messages are also shown, gives a fuller picture of what's going on...
